About Street Yoga
Street Yoga is a non-profit organization that provides homeless youth and youth at risk of homelessness with yoga, meditation, and wellness classes. Street Yoga’s mission is to break the cycle of youth homelessness by providing young people with the tools needed to get off the streets and succeed in life. Yoga offers them a free, portable means of caring for themselves that no one can take away. We serve youth through community site partners, that include: day programs for homeless youth; sexual abuse treatment centers; foster care support programs; transitional housing sites; drug and alcohol treatment programs; juvenile detentions centers; run-away shelters and shelters for victims of abuse.
